MIED Sarawak Study Trip to SSO

We were very happy to have received a courtesy visit from the delegates from Kementrian Pembangunan Perindustrian dan Usahawan Sarawak (MIED Sarawak) on 15th December 2017. The study trip was led by MIED’s permanent secretary (Setiausaha Tetap), Datu Liaw Soon Eng.

The event started off with a brief introduction about the Shared Services & Outsourcing (SSO), presented by Softwise’s CEO Mr. Darren Lo. We exchanged information on the various government initiatives by both the Sabah and Sarawak states.

The highlight of the day was the visit to SSO’s warehouse in Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP). The delegates were shown how we manage the inventory of various SME producers. We also demonstrated the process of tagging local products with barcodes, as part of the requirements of local supermarkets.

We are glad to share the same vision with MIED Sarawak. We are both committed to help the local SME producers in developing their market.
The Borneo Kaki team hopes that we will have more collaboration opportunities with MIED Sarawak in the future. Thank you for visiting us.
